8 The \fIhelix\fP program draws interesting patterns composed of line segments

15 Draw on a newly-created window. This is the default.
18 Draw on the root window.
21 If on a color display, pretend we're on a monochrome display.

24 This controls the speed at which the screen will be erased. Lower numbers
27 .B \-erase\-mode \fIinteger\fP
28 This sets the erase mode. Mode \-1 chooses a random mode each time. There
29 are currently 6 modes defined (0\-5).

32 This sets the number of seconds that the helix will be on the screen.

38 Specify which visual to use. Legal values are the name of a visual class,
