8 The \fIhelix\fP program draws interesting patterns composed of line segments
12 accepts the following options:
15 Draw on a newly-created window. This is the default.
18 Draw on the root window.
21 If on a color display, pretend we're on a monochrome display.

24 This controls the speed at which the screen will be erased. Lower numbers
27 .B \-erase\-mode \fIinteger\fP
28 This sets the erase mode. Mode \-1 chooses a random mode each time. There
29 are currently 6 modes defined (0\-5).

32 This sets the number of seconds that the helix will be on the screen.

35 This sets the amount of time to pause periodically while drawing.

41 Specify which visual to use. Legal values are the name of a visual class,
