From 075f76a92b40523ed2b6d3a7569c6485abf3040b Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Linus Torvalds Date: Fri, 27 Aug 2004 20:04:12 -0700 Subject: [PATCH] Remove QIC-02 tape from Kconfig. Let's leave the code for a while yet, and see if somebody screams. But both Red Hat and SuSE claim it is unused, so it probably is. The driver hasn't gotten updated in years, and google doesn't seem to show any usage either. --- drivers/char/Kconfig | 33 --------------------------------- 1 file changed, 33 deletions(-) diff --git a/drivers/char/Kconfig b/drivers/char/Kconfig index 5bbc8d2921d03..b8accee9ecf24 100644 --- a/drivers/char/Kconfig +++ b/drivers/char/Kconfig @@ -595,39 +595,6 @@ config HVCS which will also be compiled when this driver is built as a module. -config QIC02_TAPE - tristate "QIC-02 tape support" - help - If you have a non-SCSI tape drive like that, say Y. - - To compile this driver as a module, choose M here: the - module will be called tpqic02. - -config QIC02_DYNCONF - bool "Do you want runtime configuration for QIC-02" - depends on QIC02_TAPE - help - You can either configure this driver once and for all by editing a - header file (), in which case you - should say N, or you can fetch a program via anonymous FTP which is - able to configure this driver during runtime.
