* 112kBit was used when benchmarking L3Enc since 128
kBit wasn't allowed in my unregistered copy.
All programs were given the same running conditions with no background
or user activity taking place during encoding. Testsample was a digital
copy of the intro to the Moonraker album by Big Money ("Once Upon A Time
In A Galaxy Far Far Away" a 20 seconds long piece of music), that was compressed
to 128 kBit stereo. Encoding quality was set to highest possible for all
encoders. All tests were performed at lest twice to make sure that no temporary
system task influenced.
This test is in no way complete. There are a lot of other encoders
on the market and some of them are faster than BladeEnc. I'll add some
more later to give a somewhat more correct picture of the situation.
