   8 .SH DESCRIPTION
   9 The \fIhop\fP program generates real plane fractals as described in
  10 the September 1986 issue of Scientific American.

  13 accepts the following options:

  16 Draw on a newly-created window.  This is the default.

  19 Draw on the root window.

  22 If on a color display, pretend we're on a monochrome display.

  25 Install a private colormap for the window.

  28 Specify which visual to use.  Legal values are the name of a visual class,
  29 or the id number (decimal or hex) of a specific visual.

  32 How many colors should be used (if possible).  Default 200.
  33 The colors used cycle through the hue, making N stops around
  34 the color wheel.

  40 How many pixels should be drawn before a color change.  Default 1000.
